I noticed yesterday an extremely high police presence around town yesterday, with people pulled over, and car searches going on. Good job, APD and PPD. You’re efforts were noticed by regular people. Thank you!!

Noticed also this week Pittsburg police have been working the corners if Hiway 4 and Somersville that are in their jurisdiction. Working on the panhandling in the middle of the street.

Thank you Pittsburg PD.

Too bad they didn’t have the county housing authority with them to check who was living where illegally. Thanks everyone!

Sycamore light. Cavallo and e 18 has been better thanks apd. I still think they should open a substation next to little Cesar pizza . Mabey even share space with the housing enforcment dept .the crime will drop in the area also shut down the hotels that are really not hotels but criminals refuge.
What a great idea to actually do section 8 fraud visits.every person on section 8 should have a home visit from a case worker at least 2 X a year. That will keep the landlords and renters respecting the neighborhood better. As neither one wants to lose there lifetime entitlement.

Doesn’t the Housing Authority has law enforcement? Maybe it’s time they help clean up the mess they have allowed to congregate in Antioch. The burden should not be all on APD.

Proactive enforcment should happen everyday as a priority. Why wait until someone is murdered? Get those fugitives and criminals behind bars before they hurt an innocent person.

Great job APD. Everytime I hear about proactive actions, I think this town may have a chance to clean up all this human trash.
