At 11:40 pm Friday, Antioch Police were called to a disturbance at Safeway on Deer Valley Road involving a party bus that left 12-people cited while police located 5 loaded firearms.
According to Lt. Vanderklugt of the Antioch Police Department, a party bus charted out of San Francisco made the stop at Safeway and was occupied by 50 people. People exited the bus and made their way into Safeway where they became unruly and knocking down display items while stealing food and alcohol before trying to get back onto the bus.
Police were able to detain the bus in the parking lot and stated the bus driver was cooperative with responding officers.
“This required a great deal of resources who were used to identify people collecting statements and reviewing video,” said Lt. Vanderklugt. “The call came in at 11:40 pm and was closed at 2:55 am.”
According to Lt. Vanderklugt, 12 subjects were cited for theft, 1 cited for providing a false name, 1 warrant arrest and 5 loaded handguns were located on the bus.
Police stated all of the occupants on the bus were between 16-21 year old with most out of San Francisco. No names are being released at this time and police are still investigating.

No, it’s been going on for some time, but the local media does not report these types of incidents, it does not fit their agenda. Now if this was white kids doing it, it would run 24/7 on all liberal news media outlets.

I didn’t see the video, but regardless, every time something happens in this community everybody says it is because of black people and section 8. Well I have 6 kids 2 degrees and I am not on section 8 nor do I get food stamps or any assistance. I work graveyard and own 2 businesses so don’t judge me when you see me out with my kids. I hate the stereotypes that are put on “every” black person. I worked at the DA’s office and MDF, and let me tell you, not all crime is black crime. I hate that this happened because I live 1 block away from this Safeway, but for the record, I don’t steal, I don’t carry a gun, and I am not on any type of government assistance…and I am Black.

Nice work APD! All of the involved were between 16-21? There were no parents? Was anyone cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor? 5 loaded firearms? Were they handguns? You have to be 21 to purchase a handgun legally. I wonder how many were legally registered firearms and if any of the individuals had CCW’s? Sounds like this party bus was just transporting a bunch of dirtbags around to cause trouble. How old do you have to be to reserve a party bus? You have to be 25 to rent a car….

I am an American. Most of the black loser people seem to think the world owes them. Whip out the race card is getting really old. We need to stop letting loser black people ruin themselves by stopping all the free stuff they get. Free food, free housing, free credit card, free phones, free medical. No family unity just baby makin. The government even gives them more money for making bastard children. Some don’t even know who their daddy is. They make TV shows to entertain people on the subject. Too much time on these losers hands. Go to school, learn something, get a job, and stop your self pity. 90 percent of public dollars go to a lousy 10 percent of losers. And I have to been told to be careful in Antioch as it’s gotten remarkably worse over the past couple decades — now I referred often as the Richmond of East County. So many incidents happening at that Safeway in 2015. City of Antioch is going down the gutter. Goes to show what happens when you have a city run by black people. A perfect example of this is Baltimore with 3 times the murder rate of Oakland.
The key fact is that this is deeper than any race issue. It’s the fact that parenting seems to be lacking throughout not only Antioch but our nation as a whole. There can be many factors contributing that issue whether it be a single parent who works a lot or simply a drug addict dead beat parent. And as far as black culture having a sense of entitlement if you purely think only be race feels entitled then you haven’t met today’s avg. 15-19 yr old because our society has allowed them to think that the only way you can become successful is to make a cool YouTube video or a hot song. When in reality ALL kids aren’t being challenged as much as a kids growing up in the late 90s . Even the schools are softer. When i attended AHS , If you even smelled like alcohol you were up for expulsion but since I’ve been employed by the district I work for . I’ve caught 2 kids with weed and 1 with alcohol and all get the same punishment a 5 day suspension and the counselor or admin didn’t follow up with the kids . Bottom line as a young American who works with kids let me just give all parents 1 piece of advice . ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOUR KIDS . but don’t suffocate them .
