The Mayor of Brentwood is offering a $100 reward for information leading to the arrest of vandals who destroyed decorations at the Big Red Chair outside city hall.
According to Mayor Taylor, they arrived to city hall Tuesday at City Park and found the decrorations at the Big Red Chair removed and all over the ground.
The chair, which was created by Big Al’s Heavy Metal Furniture, was created for Christmas as a way to allow people to take photographs. It was then decided the chair would be featured year-round and decorated in holiday themed decor.
A police report was filed.
A local girl scout troop in Brentwood has offered to re-decorate the chair Tuesday evening.
