Liberty High Interact Club Leaves Mark on Marsh Creek Elementary

Students at Marsh Creek Elementary School will have a nice surprise come Monday morning when they see a brand new hand painted map courtesy of the Liberty High School Interact Club and Brentwood Rotary.

The students created their fifth map Saturday morning with two more paintings planned by years end.

According to Dirk Ziegler, the process of laying out a map comes in pieces. They have to lay them out and sketch it. They then are able to create dots which make up the lines. Earlier in the year, the process took about 2-hours before painting began whereas now it takes about 30-minutes.

Then the fun begins with the paint as shown in the photographs below.

What a great way to improve the community! Kudos to all involved!
