According to SB 9: it streamlines the process so homeowners can create duplexes and subdivide their existing property up to four units.

SB9 is but one example of the recent trend for Sacramento to override the authority of local government to manage local communities. The real solution is for California voters to “throw the bastards out” of the state legislature and elect centrists instead of left and right wing wackos.
