Major kudos go out to the Antioch Police Department and to the community last night for raising a total of $2,159 during the Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser at Chili’s in Antioch. The event raised money for the expected 16,000 Northern California Special Olympic athletes.
“We had some very generous donors last night and its greatly appreciated,” said Police Chief Allen Cantando. “On behalf of the Antioch Police Department, we appreciate all of the community support.”
According to Cantando, it they may have set a record last night. Here are a few photos from last night’s event.
