The Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of Tyler Belleci, 23, after he reportedly walked into Delta RC on W. 10th Street and selected two electronic drones and ran out of the business.
The drones were valued at $1,000 each.
Police say as Belleci was exiting the business with both drones, when he was detained outside by the owner of the business and held until Police arrived. He was then sent to county jail.
The incident occurred on December 16 around 2:30 pm.
For Belleci, he was one of the first “wanted posters” by the Oakley Police Department. Belleci responded by mocking Oakley Police on social media claiming they would not catch him. On September 17, 2015, Oakley Police announced he was in custody.
