The Concord Police Department announced Tuesday night that during a traffic stop on Lone Tree Way in Antioch, police located Jason Lee Harris who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for burglary.
On July 9, Concord Police issued a press release seeking the public’s assistance in locating Harris for numerous burglaries.

On Wednesday, July 14th, 2015, at approximately 7:30 PM, the Concord Police Department Violence Suppression Unit conducted follow-up with information they received about the possible whereabouts of Jason Lee Harris, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for burglary. Members of the Concord Police Department Violence Suppression Unit located Harris in a vehicle and initiated a traffic enforcement stop on Lone Tree Way in Antioch. Harris was taken into police custody without incident. Harris was booked at the Concord Police Department Jail on his outstanding warrant and later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. Harris’ bail is set at $50,000.
With the help of social media, news outlets, and word of mouth, this arrest was made in a timely manner. Concord PD would like to thank all of the citizens in our community and neighboring communities, who provided the necessary tips that helped to make this arrest possible. Remember, even though Harris is under arrest, he is still innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Jason Lee Harris (03-02-1984), has been identified as a suspected serial cat burglar responsible for several residential break-ins in the central Concord area. Harris is believed to be entering homes via unlocked doors and windows during nighttime hours.
Harris is described as a black male adult, 6’00” tall, 180 lbs, black hair and black eyes. Harris has been seen with or without dark framed prescription style glasses.
If you see Harris, please call 911 and advise the police of his location. Do not attempt to apprehend Harris as he may be dangerous.
