Pittsburg: Vehicle Crashes into Sound Wall on E Leland Road

At 8:24 pm Saturday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle crash into a cement wall at E. Leland and Freed Ave in the City of Pittsburg.

Upon arrival, CONFIRE confirmed a subject was still trapped in the vehicle after hitting a sound wall and extrication was needed.

By 8:41 pm, BC8 reported the patient was extricated from the vehicle and units would be committed for several more minutes to clear the scene. The extent of the injuries was unknown.
