Antioch Police Help Reunite Missing Dog of Three-Years With Orinda Family

by ECT

The Antioch Police Department helped reunite a dog with its family after it had been missing for three-years.

Antioch Police announced on Facebook Saturday that Officer Amiri was performing a routine traffic stop around 1:00 am when a French Bulldog jumped into his patrol vehicle.

After taking the dog to Animal Services, it was discovered the dog had a microchip and the owner was informed their dog was safe and would be returned.

The dog, out of Orinda, had been missing since November 9 of 2015.

How did this dog go missing on November 9? Was it stolen?
