With 2014 officially underway, I wanted to take a moment and thank our readers and supporters who have helped us grow from a part-time blog to a full-time news source providing community happenings that is relevant to you.
Without the support of our readers who not only read our articles and social media posts, but are engaged with the material, we would not have grown to where we are today. Our success is because of you!
From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you for your participation. Thank you for being engaged. The sharing of news tips, news information, on scene updates from readers, photographs provided from an incident, and the discussions that occur—it’s really amazing!!! If 2013 has proven anything, it’s that East County Today truly is a website that provides “the good, the bad, the outspoken” of East Contra Costa County.
As for our Facebook Page which has grown to more than 19,000 “likes” and information is shared throughout the day, what a wild ride that page has been from the sharing of information, status and photos being shared—again, I can’t thank you enough for the participation.

The best site out there and only real local news page. Updates are great and before everyone else
Read it on ECT, you will see it in the Times a day later or may never even make the Brentwood Press. Seen a lot of what your doing be on the local TV media as well. Keep up the great work. I’d advertise if I was a business owner.
Well done in the short time you have been active. Certainly not a fan of the politics at times and with an election year this concerns me of where you take this website, but this site does provide the most information to east county.
Just don’t get up and leave like Take Back Antioch did. That woman was a fraud after winning her award. Keep up the awesome work!
