Good Samaritans Assist Antioch Police in Capturing Stabbing Suspect

Antioch Police responded to a stabbing at Save Mart, 3190 Contra Loma Blvd this morning at 7:56 am.  Upon Police arrival, the 50 year old victim was found suffering from apparent stab wounds.

The responsible was captured a short distance away by several good Samaritans and turned over to police.  The victim was taken to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

Jeffrey Crimson, 35 years old, Antioch Resident was arrested where this is being considered an attempted homicide.

At this point, it appears to be a random act and that the suspect and victim did not know each other according to Lt. Robin Kelley.
