Discovery Bay: Vehicle Strikes Hydrant, Floods the Area

At 11:28 am Tuesday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the 2500 block of Wayfarer Ct in the Town of Discovery Bay.

It was reported that the driver had rolled backwards and injured his leg. A medical helicopter was then requested, but was cancelled by AMR.

Public works was requested as it was being reported the area was beginning to flood.
