A congratulations goes out to Brentwood Councilman Joel Bryant who was appointed Vice Mayor Tuesday after Mayor Bob Taylor made the appointment. The nomination of Bryant was approved 5-0. Mayor Taylor thanked Steve Barr for his service as vice mayor over the past two years while also thanking Erick Stonebarger who served in the role before Barr.
In getting to know Joel Bryant over the last few months, he is a solid choice and will represent Brentwood very well going forward in the role. He is sharp, level headed, and very thoughtful in the comments he makes on the issues. Most importantly of all, he is very approachable when you have a concern.
