Updated: Brentwood Police Say Missing Youth Found Safe in Antioch

The Brentwood Police Department is currently searching for a missing person believed to be in the area of the Sunset Ball Fields in the City of Brentwood.

The individual is Elijah Nathaniel Wilson, a black male juvenile, 13 years of age, and weighing approximately 100 pounds. Elijah has brown hair and brown eyes. he is wearing a gray and blue patterned shirt, blue jeans and gray vans.

Elijah was last seen at the Sunset Ball Fields at 6:45 PM on Thursday night by his mother when she dropped him off. When she returned 15 minutes later, she could not find Elijah.

If you believe you have seen this person or have any information regarding this person, please call the Brentwood Police Department immediately at 925-778-2441.

—UPDATE—

Per Brentwood Police, Elijah is still missing but new information revealed he was seen by a reliable witness at Walmart in Antioch around 9:00 pm last night, unharmed. Information at this point suggests he is a voluntary runaway. More than 20 Contra Costa County Search and Rescue volunteers canvased the area this morning and afternoon for hours but found no sign of Elijah. We still very much want to reunite him with family.

Elijah was recently located in Antioch unharmed.

Great News Everyone!!!
The Antioch PD has found Elijah and he is being delivered to his family as we speak.

There are no other details available at this time…
Most important is that he is ok and now safe.

These children (especially at age 13), need to find other options besides running away. That takes resources away from children who have actually been ubducted. Which is becoming a huge issue in East Country Costa County yet has been swept under the rug by most media. Hope this kid get the mental and emotional support he needs that caused him to run away from his home. A home should be your most glorious and safe place.
