Updated: Brentwood Police Investigating Downtown Bank Robbery

The Brentwood Police Department are currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred just before 1:00 pm Thursday in the downtown area.

The BAC Community Bank on First Street was robbed where a suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. It is unclear if a weapon was used during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Police are still on scene investigating and reviewing video from the robbery.

Update per Brentwood PD:

The suspect armed with a dark colored handgun entered the bank and demanded cash where he receiving an undisclosed amount.  He fled the bank on foot westbound across First Street towards Diablo Alley.

Suspect description: Light skinned male, in his 30’s, 6 foot, 180 lbs, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, bright orange safety vest, blue pants and dark colored shoes.
