Brentwood – On Thursday, January 22 at 10:27, E52 responded to Yardley Place for a medical emergency reported as a pregnancy problem.
E52 arrived to find a female on the bathroom floor experiencing contractions at approximately 1 minute apart. Patient is 32 years old, 39 weeks along and expecting no complications.
AMR PM77 & PM180 arrived on scene and assumed pt care. Patient was moved to the gurney and a healthy baby girl was delivered.
All three crews worked together to take care of Mom, Baby and Dad who assisted in cutting the umbilical cord. All three were transported along with one Firefighter to Kaiser Deer Valley.
