Brentwood: Firefighters Battling Vegetation Fire after Burn Pile Gets Out of Control

At 3:01 pm Thursday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched to a report of a half-acre vegetation fire in the area of Sunset Road and Eden Plains Road in the City of Brentwood.

By 3:16 pm, Engine 93 arrived on scene and said the fire was a burn pile that got out of control.

By 3:24 pm, the fire was listed as contained according to Battalion Chief 5.
