The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between August 6-12 according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department.

Assault

  • 8/6 – Brentwood Bl:Lock removed by unknown means from locker in mens locker room. Backpack, wallet, keys and miscellaneous men’s clothing were taken. Occurred 8/6/14 between approximately 1730 hours and 1930 hours.
  • 8/12 – Sand Creek Road: RES and VIC confronted each other while driving. RES sprayed VIC with an unknown substance.

Auto Theft

  • 8/6 – Birch St.:RES stole VIC’s vehicle.

Burglary – Business

  • 8/8 – Lone Tree way:RES cut perimeter fencing on the north/east corner of the Home Depot gardening area. RES entered Home Depot and selected multiple tools. RES entered the garden area where RES pushed the tools through the hole in the fence he had cut. RES exited the store and recovered items on the exterior.
  • 8/11 – Lone Tree way: RES forced access to a gated employee only area and stole large propane tanks and recyclables. Loss: $190 Occurred 08/09/14 1500 – 1730 hours.

Burglary – Residential

  • 8/6 – Pheasant Run Tr.: Unknown RES entered VIC’s unlocked garage and took items from veh. Occ’d between 2200 hours and 0500 hours. No identifiable items taken.
  • 8/10 – Shady Willo Ln: RES broke side window and entered the vacant residence. The interior was vandalized and two boxes of miscellaneous items stolen. VIC is in the process of moving out.
  • 8/11 – Blossom Ct.: RES entered VIC’S residence via an unlocked window and stole numerous items including two handguns (Occ’d 08/11 0800-1555).

DUI

  • 8/7 – St. Regis: ARR collided with curb and determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF. ARR’s vehicle towed and stored.
  • 8/8 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR vehicle was stopped for CVC violation. ARR-1 was DUI and ARR-2 was intoxicated in public and both were transported to MDF. ARR vehicle was stored.
  • 8/9 – Laurel Rd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR to MDF, VEH parked at ARR’s request.
  • 8/9 – Canyonwood Ct.: ARR got into a fight with SUS. ARR was intoxicatrd, and unable to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/9 – Sawyer Way: ARR involved in a solo vehicle collision. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.

Embezzlement

  • 8/12 – Balfour Rd: ARR embezzled approximately $2,000.00 from the business of FoodMaxx. ARR released on an 849(a).

Fraud

  • 8/6 – Alderman Ln: RES used VIC’s information to open a $2,600.00 line of credit with a company in Kansas.
  • 8/6 – Mills Ct.: RES used VIC’s online bill pay account to pay $2,800 to an account that did not belong to VIC.

Grand Theft

  • 8/8 – Wayne Dr.:RES stole VIC’s catalytic converter from his vehicle. Occd within last four days.
  • 8/9 – Brockdale Dr.: RES stole VIC’s catalytic converter.

Narcotics Violations

  • 8/11 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted for trespassing on city owned property and was found to be in possession of narcotics and ammunition. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 8/6 – Sage Sparrow Ct.: RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole a phone valued at approximately $100. Occ’d between 0315 – 0410 hours.
  • 8/6 – Guthrie Lane: Lock removed by unknown means from locker in mens locker room. Backpack, wallet, keys and miscellaneous men’s clothing were taken. Occurred 8/6/14 between approximately 1730 hours and 1930 hours.
  • 8/8 – Sand Creek Road: RES stole a display item from Ulta Beauty and returned it when confronted. Ulta declined prosecution.
  • 8/8 – Sand Creek Road: The UNK Res stole approximately $50 worth of merchandise and fled out of the store. The RP chased him across Lone Tree way.
  • 8/8 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole a bucket full of merchandise. The RES fled in an early 1990’s gray 4 door sedan (unknown license plate). Estimated value of stolen property unknown.
  • 8/10 – Balfour Rd: VIC stated her cell phone was stolen after she left it on the counter at the business.
  • 8/10 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole an unknown tool from the business and fled on foot.
  • 8/11 – Mountain View Dr.: Responsible took UPS delivered package from front porch of victim’s residence.
  • 8/11 – Brentwood Blvd: RES had welding work completed by VIC. RES left without paying for work. Total approximate loss $50.
  • 8/12 – Cobalt: Victim returned home from work and discovered one of his green waste cans missing. Garbage company indicating they did not pick up the can.

Property / Possession of Stolen Property

  • 8/11 – Oak St.: ARR1 was contacted and found to be in possession of a stolen phone, suspected methamphetamine, and a methamphetamine pipe. ARR2 was found to be in possession of a billy club. ARRs to MDF.

Robbery

  • 8/8 – Lone Tree Way: VIC was assaulted at Buffalo Wild Wings and his cellphone, keys, and wallet were taken. VIC delayed report due to being inebriated. VIC sustained minor injuries. VIC’s credit card was later used by RES in City of Oakley.

 

Sex Offenses

  • 8/12 – Elizabeth Way:RES-1 and RES-2 performed sex acts on each other and are both under the age of consent.

Vandalism

  • 8/6 – Fairview Ave: Unknown suspect(s) damaged locks on two sheds. Unknown if entry was made and no items missing.
  • 8/12 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES caused approximately $18,000 in damages to VIC’s residence.

 

Vehicle Code Violations

  • 8/9 – Lone Tree Way: UNK Res fled during a traffic stop, reaching speeds in excess of 90 mph on residential streets. The vehicle was a black custom 30’s unknown make pickup truck with no plates. The pursuit lasted approximately 50 seconds and was terminated for safety reasons.

Warrant

  • 8/6 – Orchard Dr: ARR contacted and had two no-cite warrants. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/8 – Cortona way: ARR contacted during a suspicious circumstance and found to have an out of county misdemeanor cite release warrant for DUI. ARR released on a signed PTA.
  • 8/9 – Jeffery Way: ARR contacted during an enforcement stop. ARR found to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/11 – Atherton Blvd: ARR- was contacted at his residence in regards to an outstanding warrant for P.C. 422 and P.C. 417(a)(1). ARR- to MDF.
  • 8/11 – Central Blvd: ARR- was contacted in regards to a domestic disturbance, and determined to have two outstanding warrants. ARR- to MDF.
  • 8/12 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR found to have an outstanding cite-release warrant.

 

Weapons Violation

  • 8/12 – Town Centre Tr: RP- reported that RES- dropped off a firearm for servicing and seemed suspicious. Upon further investigation, RES- was determined to be a convicted felon. Case under investigation.
