On January 28, at 1:11 pm officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Periwinkle Way after a resident called 911 and stated she had just arrived home and found another resident of the house dead inside.
Officers responded and located the victim, a 33 year old male, inside the residence and dead from a gunshot wound.
Antioch Police Detectives were called to the scene and are actively working the investigation as a homicide. This was Antioch’s first homicide for 2016. No further information will be released at this time as we are in the early stages of the investigation.
