Antioch Police Arrest Two After Homeowner Interrupts Burglary in Progress

by ECT

On January 30th, 2016 at approximately 10:04 am, Antioch Police Officers were dispatched to a residential burglary in progress in the 5100 block of Deerspring Way. Responding officers determined a burglary had occurred and the suspects had fled on foot in the area.

On scene, it was reported that a homeowner came into his home and interrupted four suspects inside the home who then fled.

Additionally, officers learned one of the suspects was possibly armed with a firearm.

Isaiah-RobinsonAntioch Swat Officers were in the area on an unrelated detail (training) and responded to assist with a yard to yard search.

After an extensive area search, officers located Isaiah Robinson, 19 years old of Antioch along with a male juvenile suspect.

Robinson was booked in the Martinez Detention Facility and the male juvenile was booked in juvenile hall on burglary charges. Officers did not locate a firearm or the third male suspect.

This preliminary information is made available by the Field Services Bureau.

I love it!!!!! Overwhelm them with force. This looks like Iraq!!! The scum sees this enough and they will think twice. Obama does not want to materialize our police forces. Wait until it happens In his neighborhood. He will wish they showed up like Antioch swat team!!!!! People have to realize this is going to be what it takes to keep you safe in your home. If they don’t do it( Antioch and other police forces) be prepared to do it yourself!!! I wish I was wrong but realty is showing a diffrent story!!! PROTECT YOUR LOVED ONES!!!

I have to agree “I love it”. Lock and load people.

Although it’s a good thing that we have cops to help in situations like this, isn’t it a little freightening that some find it okay that this looks an awful lot like Iraq?

This means some of our fellow Americans are okay with our law enforcement’s extreme militarization, which is the first sign of an impending dictatorship/police state. A well-armed military police force is not what our Constitution was written to give rise to.

Shouldn’t we be pushing to have the People armed and able to defend themselves opposed to egging on the growing United Police State of America?

A lot of talk from someone who has never done two tours in Iraq. You know nothing of it.

No, I do not think, and have never heard of any innocent people in the States that have been invaded by the police or any form of law enforcement gestapo. This isn’t early 1900 Germany.

I think you need to read and comprehend that part of the constitution you mentioned.

Overwhelming use of force or the overwhelming displays of superior weapons technology used by our current militarized police force are mere visual warnings/collective threads made to the rest of us that any resistance to their form of governing is near impossible and almost always fatal. One does not need to be a burglar or murderer to see that our militarized police forces can be a way to initiate martial law in this country at a future time with extreme ease and organization. America’s continuing disunity, chaos, and loss of direction are prime ingredients for a police military coup.

BTW, One does not need to go waste time fighting endless corporate pawn wars in third world countries to connect the dots to all this. You know nothing of me, so point your finger inwards. Turn off Fox and open your mind.

It took ECT 8 hours to report this or APD to release info? Looks like martial law ruling Antioch. Would be nice to have our scanners back!

Valerie Feb 1, 2016 - 6:07 am

Scanners haven’t gone anywhere……. You just have to upgrade your scanner to be able to hear the P25 system they all switched to. Mine works great!!

Julio Jan 31, 2016 - 6:21 pm

I am happy they were there! Thank you APD officers of all capacities. Yes, we want our scanners back!

Valerie Feb 1, 2016 - 6:10 am

Scanners are still here…… You need to get one that scans the P25 system that they all switched to. Mine works great!!

I have to agree with some of the others posting on about this article, it does look like martial law starting to settle in. Police departments are looking more and more militarized especially with the MRAP’s provided by DHS. Unfortunately, our government is pushing to rid law abiding citizens from being able to carry and defend themselves and others. This is the day and age we live in now where our police departments have to respond to calls in armored vehicles. But in order to protect themselves and our community, these are the tools they must use. Great work by APD as usual.

Great work APD! I wish the guys who ran would be charged for the search.

Swat team for a residential burglary? I understand being in the area on unrelated detail (training), but it seems like overkill.

Visual displays of overwhelming power have always been the hallmarks military-police states. So far it has been the most efficient way in history to curb and control the behavior of the masses (besides television).

Pedro, you’re a disgrace to your murdered ancestors and to their stolen land. If it wasn’t for you typing words on a keyboard, you’d be indistinguishable from the unthinking sheep of a person that you are. Racism is one of the most uncreative ways to think. Stop letting the Conquistaors do the thinking for you, scumbag

Funny how ECT will hop on and defend vehemently against any comment that is contrary to its status quo agenda yet won’t bat an eye to racist comments from bottomfeeders like Pedro. This site is entertaining, but sadly pathetic.
