At roughly 8:05 pm Tuesday evening, a man was shot to death on the 2200 block of Lopez Drive off Gentrytown Tuesday night and police are currently investigating the incident.
Antioch Police Department received calls of shots fired in the 2200 block of Lopez Drive. While officers were enroute additional reports came in of a subject down who had been riding a bike.
Upon arrival officers found a 27 year old male down in the front yard of a residence who had sustained gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died a short time later. This was Antioch’s 12th homicide of the year.
