Antioch Package Thief Caught on Camera

by ECT

An Antioch resident is asking for the public’s help in helping identify a package thief from August 23, 2016.

The resident filed a police report, but has not heard an update in the case. The incident occurred at 10:20 am on August 23 on Rock Island Drive where packages were stolen.

According to the resident, the items were valued at $400 and were orders sent out to her clients. The packages consisted of wooden night lights, one of a moon and two small mountain ranges. Photos can be viewed on: www.LightingBySara.com

“One of them was being sent to as a donation for a military couple in Alabama who are conducting a fundraising auction in an attempt to adopt their first child after struggling with infertility,” said Sara Collet Watson. “I don’t expect I’ll get the items back, but it’s my time that’s really been stolen. This ordeal set me back a couple of days on my orders and I’d feel better knowing I’ve done everything I can to catch the person taking advantage of the hard work of myself and most probably others in my community.”

The thief is described as a white male in his late 20’s to mid-30’s with possible arm tattoos.  The vehicle driven is an early 2000’s white 4-door Dodge Stratus with a smashed front right bumper.

You have to take preventive measures. They send tracking numbers for a reason.
