Antioch: Man Hit with Baseball Bat, Claims Shots Fired At Him

At 2:22 pm Monday, Antioch Police responded to a report of a male who says multiple people in cars approached him at C St. and 10th Street and fired two shots at him as he ran away.

According to a witness, they say three vehicles approached a male suspect and hit him with a baseball bat and as he took off, fired two shots at him. None of the shots fired hit anybody.

Antioch Police confirmed they did respond, but details were still being investigated and confirmed saying they did not locate any casings at the scene of the supposed shooting.  The victim was hit by a baseball bat but was not hit by gunfire.

Police are still investigating and no further details were available.
