Antioch: K9 Assists Police in Locating Subject After Foot Pursuit

Shortly before 6:30 pm Saturday, Antioch Police officers located a subject whom they are familiar with who had an outstanding warrant. Officers attempted to make contact when they entered a foot pursuit on Shaddick Drive.

The subject then entered yards and began hopping fences. In response, additional units were requested and a perimeter was established. With the use of a Police K-9, the subject was taken into custody on Lynn Ave and medical was immediately requested.

According to police on scene, the subject has been arrested numerous times in the past while he was located during routine patrol in the area.
