As to the reference that fireworks are “still going off” in Antioch and areas of Contra Costa County, I wish that were true. Fireworks have been going off nightly in Antioch for at least two years. It’s never-ending here. Obviously, someone here has a bottomless supply of M100’s and M1000’s. The time these are blasted are between 1 am and 4 am.

Oh yes! We hear them! On a nightly basis! Sure helps us get a good-nights sleep. We are so perky in the morning as we head for work! The police here know EXACTLY who is setting them off and the location, but seem to be too chicken-shit to go after these scumbags.

So? Newsom is unhappy and suing that crazy old bat he named California’s secretary of state because she won’t let him be designated as a Dem? Serves him right! The old witch ruined San Diego part of which she represented. No wonder people were moving out of there.
