On November 3 at approximately 9:00 am, Walnut Creek PD Detectives in coordination with Detectives from the New York City Police Department and officers from Pittsburg Police, executed a search and arrest warrant for stolen property at the suspect’s residence on Willet Court in Pittsburg.
The search warrant was the culmination of an extensive retail theft investigation by NYPD and WCPD detectives.
The suspect, Lakisha Pettus (age 40), victimized several high-end retailers. The loss was over $500,000 in clothes and jewelry. Pettus was taken into custody on a Grand Theft warrant and a firearm was recovered from the residence.
Pettus was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for 487(a)PC – Grand Theft with a bail of $1,000,000.
