On Friday at 12:50 pm, the Antioch Police Department responded to a report of multiple shots fired on W 9th Street near I Street in the City of Antioch.
Police were in the area on another incident when they heard the shots fired and located a 28-year-old man down in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
According to one witness, they said that a vehicle drove by with two males instead when at least a dozen shots were fired.
A short time later, a victim showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, however, it has not been confirmed by police if that victim is related to this incident.

Surprised the cops showed up, they don’t come when I call for the same shit at 2am
I know times are getting crazy and yes they’re getting hard for everybody but killing is not the answer arriving or drugging arriving what we need to do is start loving one another and I know that’s far from but let’s try that’s not what the color between us is just be humans
Might be less drug use for some if we did just that ..n that goes for the up town neighborhoods as well with kids who been given almost everything n opportunity for a comfortable life but never a genuine hug or love from parents or family members but a trophy or bragging out the mouth of there trained achievements …lack of empathy or emotional intelligents will only get u so far …..cause and effect …small population no this …it’s common sense to those ..not to be a no it all just some have waited for people to open there eyes without someone calling them crazy or nodding with uh huhs.?n some authority figures should practice that as well ..new cops don’t make it better with there superior attitude ..it actually makes things worse n them look small minded ..just saying but ones who do opposite please guide those b4 it gets worse
