The Pittsburg Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday night at approximately 7:00 PM at a small park at the intersection of Crestview Dr. and Alta Vista Circle in the City of Pittsburg.
Police responded for a report of an adult male who had been shot.
The male was pronounced deceased within minutes of police and EMS arrival. This investigation is in its infancy and there are no further details we will be releasing at this time.
According to at least one video provided by a reader, there were nearly a dozen shots fired.

Last night, we received multiple 911 calls of several shots fired near Crestview Dr. And Alta Vista Circle. Officers arrived to find a 21-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts by EMS, he did not survive.
We are in the early stages of the investigation and the information is limited.
At this point, it appears the victim was in a park adjacent to Alta Vista Circle when an unidentified suspect approached the victim and fired several shots. The suspect then ran and got into a compact car and drove away.

Amelia sounds to me like the chick across the street has nothing to do with this young man’s death. An it doesn’t seem to me like you even care that young person lost his life to senseless violence. Well if anyone knows anything I beg of you to please come forward, I am that young man’s mother and beg of you to please do the right thing! My son was innocent a god fearing young man on a spiritual journey with a heart of gold! Whom ever did this had no clue what kind of young man he was and where misled to believe the wrong thing! just for everyone’s information, you are all ignorant as hell and gossip way too much! it just so happens that the people that were in that house are the ONLY ONES that went to see if that guy was okay and stayed with the man until parametics got there.while nobody else in that neighborhood did a fucking thing! people may do bullshit and get into trouble but it doesn’t mean that they are involved with something as horrific and tragic as this! it just so happens that the police know she and anyone else there WERE NOT involved and in fact THANKED THEM for caring enough to be the only people decent enough to care for another human beings life!
