Traffic Crash Shuts Down Pittsburg-Antioch Highway

by ECT

The Pittsburg-Antioch Highway is closed Sunday evening as PG&E is responding to a vehicle crash which took out a pole and wires between Loveridge Road and Verne Roberts Cir. in the City of Pittsburg.

The incident occurred around 6:20 pm where a white vehicle was traveling eastbound when apparently a tire blew and caused the teenage driver to lose control of his vehicle and strike a pole while ending up off the roadway.

According to police on scene, the teenager was not injured in the crash, however, the roadway would be blocked while PG&E responded to the scene.

No further information was available.

I’ve driven cars where the fire blew out and I could control the vehicle very nicely. That’s something which can be anticipated and handled properly. I too bet the kid was texting on his cell.

Why do people judge and assume things about other people. Do you have nothing better to do than talk crap on someone you don’t even know! How would you like it if you or a loved one got in an accident and people talked crap about you? Instead of being negative the only thing that should be said I are positive and wish them well or say nothing if you are just someone who has to be negative on situation. That’s what’s wrong with people today… Remember words are very powerful and can be just as harmful as a loaded gun. Food for thought… think before u speak!!!!
