Stockton Police Investigate Homicide, Looking for Two Suspects

On May 30, 2015, at approximately 8:37 pm, a 34 year old man was confronted by the two suspects at a residence in the 2300 block of Alma Avenue. That confrontation led to the stabbing of the man, who subsequently died from his injuries.

The two suspects, who are brothers, have been identified as the suspects for this homicide. They fled the area in a dark blue 2001 – 2002 Extended Cab Chevrolet Silverado truck. The license plate number on the vehicle is unknown. The suspect vehicle is believed to have dark colored rims on it. Homicide Investigators believe this homicide appears to be gang-related.

The suspects are:

  • Salvador “Alex” Castro, a 19 year old man, 5′-7″ and 190 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
  • Joseph Anthony Castro, a 23 year old man, 5′-9″ 260 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is a documented gang member and also is on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) for narcotics violations out of Tulare County.
