Stockton Police Announce $125k Reward for Serial Killer’s ID

by ECT

On Tuesday, the Stockton Police Department announced a reward of $125,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest of a potential serial killer–with seven cases now linked.

Stockton Police Chief Stanley McFadden explained the killer is looking for an “opportunity” and that all of the killings have been of men alone in the dark.

“I first want to address the comments of Stockton having a serial killer. That is what has been messaged and that is the big question keep being asked. By definition, these shootings are a series of killings we do believe we could have a potential serial killer,” said McFadden. “That is how we are going to treat this and such. At this time we don’t know if it’s a person or persons. We have no evidence that connects a person or persons to any of these incidents.”

McFadden said he hoped more information would come forward.

The “person of interest” was shown in a video and McFadden urged people to “notice how upright this person’s posture is. This person’s posture is extremely upright”.

Although the video was released, McFadden released the video regarding the “person of interest” but stated they have no evidence connecting this person at this time and they wanted to speak with this person.

McFadden confirmed 7 cases are linked and the average age of the victim is 42, sex of the male are mostly male and races are mostly Hispanic.

He also confirmed that one of the cases linked occurred in the City of Oakland and that they were working with the Oakland Police Department.

Another development was they interviewed the only surviving victim which she heard someone walking around her camp site, when she came out of her tent she encountered someone pointing a gun at her, multiple shots fired at her.  She provided a description who was described as a 5’10 and 6’’ wearing all dark clothing, dark COVID style mask and dark jacket. No words were mentioned.
