Sketch of Suspected Pittsburg Kidnapper Released

by ECT

The Pittsburg Police Department has released the following sketch of the man suspected of grabbing and running away with a two-year old girl in Pittsburg Friday afternoon. The police department began going door-to-door Saturday afternoon with flyers.

The girl was with her mother in the front yard of a home in the 300 block of Snow Flake Way at 1:45 p.m. when the man picked up the girl and started running, Lt. Ron Raman said.

He got about 50 feet away from the house, but was startled when the girl’s mother yelled after him and he dropped the girl into some bushes.

The suspect is described as a white man about 30 years old with blond hair down to his collar and was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. He is estimated as 5 feet 9 inches tall white male about 160 points.

If you think you know who this person is, please call the Pittsburg police at the tip line number because the biggest concern now is that he’ll try to kidnap another child. Police believe that if the man is not caught, he will strike again.
