Rio Vista: Antioch Residents Arrested on Drug Charges, Additional Charges Likely

by ECT

Two Antioch residents were arrested by Rio Vista Police on drug charges and the possibility of identity theft charges may be coming upon further investigation.

On February 18 at 7:15 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on a green Honda Accord for mechanical violations in the parking lot in the 600 block of State Route 12.

The vehicle matched a similar description given to officers of a suspicious vehicle in Trilogy that could be related to recent mail thefts. Officers contacted the driver, Angela Taylor, age 35 from Antioch, and the passenger Kim Watson, age 36 from Antioch, who told officers that they were going to a hotel in Rio Vista.

A records check was conducted, which showed that Taylor was driving on a suspended license and Watson was on felony probation.

Rio-Vista-PoliceA probation search of the vehicle was conducted. Inside a purse they located several separate clear baggies that contained cocaine, totaling 21.9 grams and a scale. Officers also located 6.8 grams of Hashish in separate baggies, prescription pills and other narcotic paraphernalia.

During the search of the vehicle, Rio Vista Officers located multiple notebooks and folders to show that the two subjects in the vehicle were in possession of multiple forms of identity theft. Inside of the books and folders were different names, addresses, phone numbers, credit card information, banking numbers, routing numbers, email addresses, PayPal accounts, and much more. Notebooks full of blank slated credit cards were also found in the vehicle along with a credit card size portable laminating machine. There were three computers in the vehicle, which were all confiscated.

There is a possibility of 500 victims of identity theft in the materials seized ranging from the States of Illinois to California.

Taylor and Watson were booked into Solano County Jail for the following charges; Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession and Transportation of Controlled Substance for Sales, Possession of Concentrated Cannabis and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.

Editors Note:
According to Rio Vista Police, they say identity theft charges have not yet been filed, but they are working on an additional investigation regarding the identity theft. Due to the volume of information it will take longer to investigate. Once completed it will be forwarded to the Solano County DA’s office to file charges.

Although identity thieves are doing horrible things on a daily basis, it’s these types of scenarios that will gratefully keep this country from becoming a totally digital-money society. The more identity theft and credit card info is stolen, the more people will revert back to using only paper money and feel less comfortable with digital currency. A society with a complete digital money system is the next step toward complete government control of your affairs. If not, then one day possession of paper cash will also be reason for your arrest.

When will these criminals learn that they are only protected within the city of Antioch.

Other cities will not give them free passes or free food or put them on a pedestal and worship them like upstanding citizens. That special treatment only happens in Antioch.

Drug possession is a victimless “crime.”

If God didn’t want us to use drugs, then why did He create our brains with the necessary chemical receptors, and an innumerable amount of plant/animal species that produce these drugs? Sounds unnatural to criminalize them. Before centralized governments with their puritanical witch-hunts, imagine the freedom mankind once had…

Identity theft is the real crime here.

Great counter-argument, RJB. Too busy over there wasting time wishing you were born another race?

Rev Maynard, RJB got it right. No argument needed, when you voice such stupidity, Race Baiter

Wake up, ad hominem attacks don’t equal a counter argument. You two are just being foolish and can’t think beyond race, which is sad. Ever heard of just creating an idea for arguments sake? Good old fashioned devil’s advocate? If you two had any sense you’d be able to counter my argument with some type of logic, not this silly name calling crap. So far all you do on this site is complain about violence and the perils of dark-skinned criminals invading Antioch. Kind of lame…

At this point there’s so much crap coming out of your mouth I dont know whether to give you a breath mint or some toilet paper.

Better yet.. I think I’d rather hand you a slap across the face.

If you spent as much energy as you do with these posts maybe you can get promoted to manager at McDonald’s.

Where did Antioch go wrong??????? Feb 23, 2016 - 10:14 pm

@Rev. Maynard. You have got to be kidding. We all know that you like like getting high. You should stick to one screen name. Got a question that might make you think different about drugs being a victimless crime. You ever walked into a drug addicts house? Let me describe it for you. The door jam is broken and no longer stayes shut. This is due to the drug addict breaking it in because his old lady locked him out for smacking her around. As you get inside, you are overcome by a foul odor. The odor is a mixture of old food wrappers on the counter, next to dirt dishes that have rotting food on them. You also smell the odor of crap and urine coming from what’s in a broken toilet in the bathroom. You look around and see the entire house is littered with dirty clothes, car parts, pornographic pictures and adult toys. As you are about to vomit, you hear little voices from down the hall. From a back bedroom appear two small children that run down the hall. The kids are only wearing urine soaked diapers that are ready to fall off. Their hair is unkept and their faces smeared with dirt.

Does this change your mind? If you dont think that these kids are victims then something is wrong with you. Maybe I just described walking in to your house.
