Pleasanton Police Say Missing 15 At Risk 15 Year Old Returns Home

Pleasanton Teen Update Raymond Wayne Thorstenson, 15-year-old boy who had been missing since Sunday returned safely to his family’s home Tuesday evening according to the Pleasanton Police Department. Original Post

On Sunday at about 7:40 pm, a Pleasanton Police officer responded to a residence regarding a report of a missing person. The missing person was identified as Raymond Wayne Thorstenson, 15 years of age. Thorstenson was last seen by his legal guardian on 02/16/14 at about 1500 hours after refusing to go to a family function. An argument ensued and Thorstenson made statements of harming himself while holding a knife in his hands.

He left the residence and did not return. Thorstenson suffers from multiple mental health issue and has not had access to his prescribed medication since he was last seen. He is believed to be in Pleasanton or Livermore and is known to frequent skateboard parks in both cities. Thorstenson was last seen by one of his friends in Livermore on 02/17/14 at about 0830 hours.

He is described as being 5’10” tall, 155 pounds, brown hair, and green eyes. Thorstenson has large gauge ear lobe rings and a piercing on his left eyebrow. He has multiple tattoos including “13” on his left hand.

Thorstenson is deemed an “At Risk” runaway do to his mental health diagnoses and his age. If he is located, please call your local police department as soon as possible.
