At 10:00pm last night, officers responded to the 1100 block of Bending Willow Way for a home invasion robbery.  The residence was occupied by two children ages 3 and 6, both were sleeping at the time, and the mother of the children.   The two male suspects entered the residence by forcing open a second story window.  The suspects demanded monetary items from the female, which she complied with.

At one point the female victim attempted to push the “panic” button on her residential alarm.  This caused a struggle and the suspects struck the female several times in the upper body and face area.  Both suspects had concealed their facial area with the hoods of their sweat shirts, their identity was not known to the victim.  There were no weapons seen.

The victim called 911 once the suspects fled, through the front door.  The victim was treated and released from a local hospital for bruising to her face and arm.  The motive is not known at this point.  A silver SUV similar to a Chevrolet make was seen in the area during this incident.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Pittsburg Police Department.
