by ECT

BART Police reported Saturday morning that just after 4:00 am a victim was carjacked at gunpoint.

According to police, the victim flagged down a BART police officer in the parking lot of the Pittsburg BART Station saying their green 2001 Ford Escort had been taken at gunpoint by two suspects.

The suspects were armed with handguns and were described as black male juveniles. One suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt, and the other a gray sweatshirt.

The suspects fled eastbound on Leland in the victim’s vehicle. Surrounding agencies were given the vehicle and suspect information.

Responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle or suspects in the area. The victim was not injured.

Maybe Bart Police should spend a little more time patrolling the parking lot, and a little less time hanging out at the station agent’s booth. That’s the only place i ever see them. And i ride Bart 5 to 6 day’s a week.
