According to Pittsburg Police, two people were shot in the 1000 block of Power Avenue at the EZ Mart.
Police stated the incident occurred just after 6:20 p.m. Wednesday where three individuals (victims) engaged in an altercation with at least one suspect at the EZ Mart. During the altercation two of the victims were shot.
All three victims fled the location and drove to the police department. Officers provided aid to the victims and they were ultimately transported to local hospitals. One of the victims (22 year old male Pittsburg resident) was shot in the abdomen area at least three times, he remains at the hospital in stable condition; the other victim (18 year old male Pittsburg resident) received a grazing wound to the facial area.
Firearms were also located in the vehicle the shooting victims were driving.
The victims and suspect are known each other and the shooting was based on an incident that occurred several days prior.
Officers are following up on leads to identify and locate the shooter in this incident.
