The Pittsburg Police reported that at 11:45 pm Saturday, officers responded to the T-Mobile store regarding an alarm sounding.

Police arrived at 4410 Century Blvd in the City of Pittsburg where officers observed a woman fleeing the location carrying over $3,000.00 in merchandise.  The woman was quickly detained, placed under arrest and the merchandise was recovered.

The woman was identified as 34 year old Rosa Booker. Two other suspects fled prior to officers getting to the business. Booker was transported to the police department for booking where she became extremely uncooperative where she kicked and spit at officers.

None of our officers where injured.  Booker was later transported to county jail, where she again became combative with deputies.

According to Captain Steve Albanese,  Booker was released from county jail pending charges by the District Attorney’s Office.
