At 6:38 pm Tuesday, Pittsburg Police responded to a report of a traffic accident at the intersection of Harbor Street and Garcia. Police confirmed Tuesday night that this was a fatal crash.
According to Police Captain Michael Perry there was a fatal collision involving 2 motorcyclists at the intersection of Harbor Street and Garcia Ave where one motorcyclist was fatally injured.
Captain Perry also stated that there is no criminal component to the investigation and the roadway will be closed for a couple of hours.
No further details were provided.
