Just after 3:00am Tuesday morning, Pittsburg Police officers responded to the 500 block of Garcia Avenue for a disturbance call. A gunshot victim was located inside of the business.
Based on the initial investigation, it appears the victim was the target of this shooting and was shot after a brief verbal exchange with the suspect. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
The victim, 30 year old male Pittsburg resident, was pronounced deceased on scene.
This is an industrial area with warehouse type structures. Several marijuana plants were recovered at the location and there was evidence of marijuana cultivation.
