At approximately 1:30 pm Monday, the Pittsburg Police Department responded to a report of a subject who had been stabbed on Brooktail Drive in the City of Pittsburg.
The suspect was known to the victim and was quickly identified by police and taken into custody without incident near where the incident occurred. The suspect is also known to police.
The victim, who sustained a stab wound to the back, was transported to a local hospital.
No additional information was readily available.
