Pittsburg Police Arrest Hayward Man in Connection With Multiple Charges, Held on $2.7 Million Bail

The Pittsburg Police Department announced the arrest of a 20-year-old Hayward man this week on multiple charges.

He faces charges of felony aggravated assault, felony domestic violence, felony rape, felony false imprisonment and felony terrorists threats.

According to Captain Steve Albanese, this was an isolated incident that began Monday afternoon.

On Tuesday, police tracked the man to the El Dorado Motel and served him with the warrant and placed him under arrest. At the time of the arrest, he was found to be in possession of two loaded handguns and illegal narcotics.

He was later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and is being held on a $2.7 million dollar bail.

No other information was provided.
