Pittsburg Police have been working leads which led to the arrest of three individuals in an August 18 homicide in the 500 block of Garcia Ave where a 30-year-old male was located deceased from a gunshot wound inside a business.
Based on our initial investigation, it appears the suspect confronted the victim and after an exchange of words the victim was shot. Several marijuana plants were located inside of the business and there was evidence of marijuana cultivation at the location.
The Pittsburg Police Department announced Friday that they have arrested three individuals for their involvement in this murder investigation. Over the past two weeks detectives have worked tirelessly following up on this case; the arrest was based on evidence and several interviews with witnesses and persons of interest.
Robert Anthony McClary was arrested at his residence in the City of Oakland (9200 Block of Castlewood Street) Wednesday night, Tiffany Shalia Brown was arrested at her workplace in the City of Concord (1000 Block of Concord Avenue) yesterday afternoon and Montino Keith Lewis turned himself in to the Pittsburg Police Department yesterday afternoon.
All three suspects were booked on murder charges as well as additional felony charges, they are currently in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility with no bail allowed.
The District Attorney’s Office has been involved in this investigation and we anticipate a formal filing on this case from their office.
This victim in this case, Jerron Griffin – Pittsburg resident, was the target of this shooting; However this case is still under investigation and further information including motive is not being released at this time. Additional information will be release as it becomes available.
