At around 6:45 am Sunday, Contra Costa County firefighters were dispatched to a report of smoke and flames coming from a home in the 300 block of Andrew Drive.
Firefighters arrived to the scene with smoke showing from the side of a home. By 7:12 am, the fire was knocked down. There were no injuries reported.
It is believed the fire was possibly started by squatters, however, the fire remains under investigation.
