Pittsburg: 7 Displaced After 2-Alarm Fire

At 5:10 am Saturday, Contra Costa County Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the 2100 block of Rain Drop Circle in Pittsburg.

Fire crews arrived on scene and called for a second alarm response after the fire involved two homes. Crews made the decision to go offensive on one home and defensive on another.

By 5:53 am, according to the fire district, the fire was under control. By 6:03 am, the fire timer was cancelled at 47-minutes. A board up company was requested with 25-sheets.

The Red Cross was requested after 8 adults and 5 minors were displaced.

Update:

According to Robert Marshal, spokersperson for CONFIRE, a total of 7 people were displaced at the final count. The fire started between two homes and investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire which caused an estimated $400k in damages.
