In a statement by Lena Kent, spokesperson for BNSF, she the incident is still under investigation and they are unable to confirm if this was an accident or a suicide.

Although local residents said they know the victim, police or BNSF have not released any information about the victim or their identity.

The Antioch Police Department referred all questions on this investigation to BNSF as they have jurisdiction along the railroad tracks.
