Oakley Man Shot in Antioch Sunday Night Expected to Survive

At 11:04 pm Sunday, Antioch Police officers responded to a call of a shooting on Dogwood Way and Mahogany Way where officers located a male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

According to Antioch Police, the 28-year-old Oakley resident was walking in the area when an unknown gunman shot him for an unknown reason.

Officers and medical personnel provided medical aid to the male victim, who was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victim is expected to survive. The case is still under investigation and is being treated as an attempted homicide.

This comes on the 5 year anniversary almost to the day (26th) of the shooting of my son who survived. For no apparent reason and the suspects never found.
