The Antioch Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Annual Inaugural Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Lone Tree Golf Course & Event Center in Antioch.
The formal attire event begins with a social hour at 6 PM followed by dinner/program at 7 PM. The highlight of the gala is the recognition of Antioch’s Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Youth of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, followed by the inauguration of the 2014 Chamber Board.
The nominees for Citizen of the Year are:
- Gary Agopian
- Lori Cook & Beverly Knight (joint nomination),
- Lonnie Karste
- Barney Parsons (in memoriam)
The nominees for Large and Small Businesses of the Year are:
- Delta Diablo Sanitation District
- PG&E
- American Trophies
- Commercial Support Services
- Prudential California Realty
Nonprofit of the Year:
- Josie Monaghan’s Wingz to Fly
Youth of the Year nominees are:
- Tiffany Cooper
- Margarette Gil
- Hailey Hartick
- Claryssa Christian Wilson
The winners in each category will be announced during the program and all nominees will be recognized and honored.
Tickets for the event are on sale now. Tickets are $75 each or table for eight is available for $575 and may be purchased on line at www.antiochchamber.com or (925) 757-1800. Reservation deadline is Tuesday, March 11th.
