Mayor Bob Taylor to “Turkey Suit Up”

by Administrator

This photograph comes from the Brentwood Press which highlights how much Mayor Bob Taylor cares about his community as he will once again suit up in his famous turkey suite to help raise funds for the Brentwood Regional Community Chest. According to the Brentwood Press, the mayor will be at Winterfest this Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m., and anyone making a toy or food donation can take their best shot at him with a Nerf gun.

My only question, will he be a moving target making gobble sounds? I may need to bring a video camera on Saturday! Kudos to the Mayor for having no shame!

Karen Rarey did a nice piece on the Brentwood Regional Community Chest and the Friends of Oakley in the Contra Costa Times which I’d encourage you to read. Both groups are looking for volunteers this weekend.

Great cause, but it doesn’t change the fact that Blob Taylor is a joke of a Mayor and remains an embarrassment to the city of Brentwood.

Can’t help but think “Lipstick on a Pig”. Unfortunately this is the best he can do…Shame.

I wonder if the Turkey talks about himself in the Third Person?

I think it’s great he doesn’t care if he is the “lipstick on the pig”. Anything to raise money works for me! Kudos to him!

Your comments are always sick and lewd. You are a total fool.

B-Wood Dec 13, 2012 - 1:18 pm

Sorry to disappoint you Brother… I guess the truth hurts.

I’m not quite sure how reality is “sick and lewd”, but if you think so then you are the bigger fool.

In case you didn’t know, Mayor Blob lost his home to foreclosure and couldn’t even keep his “hot dawg” stand in business. Care to keep defending him as a “leader”, because his track record sucks and his financial background is a mess. He never directly answered a single question during the debates because this is an individual that not only doesn’t have an answer, he doesn’t comprehend the question. This is the guy running the city? Nice….

Don’t get me wrong he means well, it is just painfully obvious that he is an imbecile. Spend 5 minutes with him. He will gladly show you!

Well, I thank him for doing this even though I don’t live there.
His hot dog business was doombed because everything was stale. He had no clue how to do anything just the way he runs the poor city. The voters deserve what they got.

B-wood, you should apologize. So the guy wants to dress up, leave him alone. Stick to the issues, not his personal life.

B-Wood Dec 13, 2012 - 8:00 pm

Frank S, I respectfully disagree.

If they need someone in a suit, hire a “carny”. Taylor is in way over his gobbler and has only sucesseed in making Brentwood look bad time and time again.

Boy, he really has a lot of you fooled, which by all accounts is why he won the election. If more people knew who they were voting for, he would have been history.

I respect your opinion-please respect mine because it is formed by specific knowledge, not just assumption and PR pieces.

Happy Holidays

p.s. @ Frank, his personal life and how he handles important decisions and finances IS very germane to his performance as Mayor. It also has everything to do with his decision making process. If you have watched Bob Taylor in action you would know exactly what I am referring to.

I owe him no apology. He makes a living off of people’s sympathy which is shameful.

I feel sorry for his wife. I have seen him in action when they are together and she is embarrassed. (If it was his mother the truth is the same.)

I feel more sorry for all the people who put this man down for being honest, caring, and giving of himself to help make others happy. It is very sad that some of you are above giving of yourself so others can get through the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

He is a great cheerleader for the city, but in these times we need more than a cheerleader.
